My real name is Amanda and my friends tried to shorten it to Mandy but that combined with my blonde hair makes me feel like a dumb stereotypical cheerleader girl which I'm not. It's hard enough to fight stereotypes as it is I didn't need that tagged on, besides only my grandpa was only ever allowed to call me that. So anyways back to the point, I'm obsessed with music. It's my driving passion and while I don't play any instruments at the moment I hope to change that someday. I love to sing though I'm shy (only when it comes to singing) and not very good at it. I love to write and paint and draw. Someday I hope to work with bands. I'm going to Stephen F. Austin to major in Public Relations and minor in TV/ Radio. Though in all honesty I don't want to go to college and am just going to kill time until I find something that makes me smile. I love my myspace and heard good things about this so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Music. It's just that simple. I love music but I guess I do have other passions though most of them revolve around music. I love art and writing and I also love clothes. I love fashion even things I wouldn't wear I love to look at. I'm broke so my clothing isn't exactly what it could be but I love to look at fashion. I love the look of rock, if you know what I mean. That's what I wear when I can, but I still love looking threw fashion magazines and criticizing what others are wearing in it. Sometimes you can find the coolest little things in an outfit you would never wear and somehow make it something you would. I'm ironic though because at the end of the day even if I had the money my favorite outfit would always be jeans a band tshirt and my trustie worn out chucks.

right now i'm a girl without a muse.. i have no favorite book because thanks to school reading is dead to me.. i used to love Pride and Prejudice but after ripping it apart i've discovered that i can't relate to it all.. a book called Over the Moon I read in Jr. High was really good and I probably loved it the most.. I can't seem to get past the first chapter of any book lately. I'm too distracted.
